ESPN 100.9 FM Communications Internship Great Lakes Loons: The Great Lakes Loons are a Single-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers and members of the Midwest League. The team plays its home games at Dow Diamond, which has a 5,200 seating capacity, 12 luxury suites, two picnic areas, two fireplaces and two fire pits. Dow Diamond has a state-of-the-art production facility that executes all facets of in-game entertainment, including all audio, video and supporting elements that are displayed on out 17’X35’ LED video board, four additional LED boards and matrixes and a closed-circuit video broadcast. ESPN 100.9-FM: ESPN 100.9-FM (WLUN Pinconning) is a 24-hour all-sports format station owned by the non-profit Michigan Radio Communications. The station is the flagship home the Great Lakes Loons and carries a weekday lineup of Mike and Mike in the Morning, The Herd with Colin Cowherd, The Scott Van Pelt Show, and The Huge Show with Bill Simonson. The Matrix Board Operator maintains and displays accurate statistics, scoreboard messages and sponsor information during Lake County Captains games at Classic Park through the Venus 7000 application. Duties include keeping track of player statistics and monitoring the progress of the game. The ideal candidate will have experience operating electronic scoreboard equipment, ideally in a sports venue. Good customer service and communication, friendly, positive and the ability to keep focus on game progress is preferred. Seasonal Part-Time Wage: $40.00 per game

**MUST BE 16 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER TO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION** Position in the corporate structure: Bat Boys will report directly to the Clubhouse Manager and Manager of Stadium Operations. Bat Boys will: • Perform all duties pertaining to the Captains, visitor’s and umpire’s clubhouses at Classic Park. Duties will include, but are not limited to: • Cleaning of all clubhouses; including vacuuming, cleaning of bathrooms and showers, picking up and organizing equipment, taking out trash, replenishing all bathroom and shower essentials, organizing and cleaning trainer’s room, organizing and cleaning manager’s office, organizing and cleaning the Captains workout room and trainer’s area. • Organizing and cleaning both dugouts and getting equipment ready for batting practice and each game, which includes but is not limited to: getting game balls to the umpire room, getting game bats ready, getting batting practice and game uniforms ready and hanging in each locker. • Assist coaching staff during batting practice to keep field clear for players. • Doing all of the Captains laundry during and after all home games, which includes but is not limited to: towels, uniforms and uniform accessories. • Interact on a business professional level with all players, coaches and Indians staff that you come in contact with throughout the season. • Ensure that both dugouts are properly prepared and presentable at all times pr ...
